Living Lockdown 4: August 2021 - February 2022

£15.00

The false dawn of what was to become Freedom Day One means an uncertain second autumn of the pandemic in England. A new word is added to the lexicon of lockdown. Pingdemic. Fatigue over restrictions and hope we are near the end mean we don’t want to talk about it any longer.

But we’re not done yet. Another variant appears. Another character from the cast of the Greek alphabet. Omicron casts a shadow over Christmas. Another new word. Boosters.

The national unity of 2020 starts to feel a little hollow now. The Blitz spirit was evidently open to interpretation. But this Freedom Day coincides with the start of another crisis that gives us all a new perspective.
